====== What if I want to change my Premium plan? ======

There are several possible options for migration between two Premium plans before the expiration of the current plan with immediate effect:
===== Silver subscription to Gold subscription =====

  * Your old subscription is terminated at the moment of confirmation of the payment for the higher tier. The **remaining unused money for the old subscription is transferred to the new one** and the payment term is postponed according to the sum recalculated according to the new subscription.

**Example**:

//Albert has a monthly subscription to the **Silver** tier of Locus Map. This subscription costs him **1 € per month**, and it renews on the first of the month.//

//On April 15, Albert chose to upgrade to the annual version of the **Gold** subscription, which costs **24 € per year**.//

//Albert’s **Silver** subscription ends immediately. Since he paid for a full month (April 1-30) but upgraded halfway through the subscription period, half of a month’s subscription (0.5 €) is applied to his new subscription. However, since that new subscription costs 24 € per year, the 0.5 € credit balance pays for only one week (April 16-23), so on April 24, he is charged 24 € for a new subscription and another 24 € on April 24 of each year following.//
===== Silver subscription to one-time Gold =====
  *  We'll suspend your Silver subscription while you enjoy the one-time Gold. After the end of the one-time payment period, the subscription term will continue until its full length expires.

===== One-time Gold to one-time Silver  =====
  * We will use your remaining funds for the original Gold to extend the new one-time Silver purchase accordingly. 

===== Shorter one-time Premium to longer one-time Premium of the same level =====
  * We’ll add the unused time of the original period to your new one-time purchase.

===== One-time Silver to one-time Gold =====
  * The app will be switched to Gold immediately. The funds for the remaining Silver will be used to extend the new one-time Gold period accordingly. 

===== One-time Premium to subscribed Premium of the same level =====
  * We’ll use the remaining funds for the original one-time period to extend the new subscription term accordingly.

===== One-time Silver to Gold subscription =====
  * The app will be switched to Gold immediately. The funds for the remaining Silver will be used to extend the new Gold subscription term accordingly.

===== One-time Gold to Silver subscription  =====
  * We’ll use your remaining funds for the original Gold to extend the new Silver subscription term accordingly.
