Locus-Karte provides a wide range of online maps to work with. They are listed in the Online Registerkarte der Kartenmanager.

Maps are grouped according to selected sorting. To change the sorting, tap the Sortieren nach button and select category.

• clevere Wahl - only last used and the most used maps:
  

To display the needed map, select the group to unfold and tap the map. The selected map name highlights red.

If you select a map for the first time, an Informationsbildschirm erscheint.
It contains an overview, the terms of use in online/offline modes and description. The Infobildschirm is accessible also from the Aktionsmenü at each map:

• Basis-Info - available zooms, covered countries and usage (e.g. hiking, biking…)
• Online - information whether the map is available for free or for subscription, if it can be cached into your phone memory (Locus/mapsOnline/map*.sqll file - some maps especially from commercial providers cannnot be cached so it is necessary to have stable internet connection to display them), the current size of the cache in MB and its time validity
• Offline - if the map is downloadable, daily download limit in number of map tiles, amount of tiles downloaded that day and speed limit (e.g. 2 tiles at once)
• Beschreibung - map provider, author, terms of use, license etc.

Die Liste der verfügbaren Online-Karten kann für jemanden zu komplex erscheinen, aber sie kann leicht reduziert werden, sodass der Benutzer nur die Karten sieht, die er/sie tatsächlich verwendet:

• Uncheck all you wish to hide.
  
• another way how to hide a map from the list is to select the Verbergen Option von der Aktionsmenü at each single map.

Each map has its own action menu, consisting of following items:

• Details Anzeige der Informationsbildschirm
• Herunterladen startet Online-Karte herunterladen
• 'Gültig für' setzen(nur für cachefähige Karten sichtbar) definiert die Gültigkeitszeit für gecachte Kartenkacheln in Stunden. Wenn die Gültigkeitsdauer abläuft, cachet Locus Map eine neue Kartenkachel.
• Cache löschen löscht alle zwischengespeicherten Kacheln in Ihrem temporären Speicher
• Im Voraus bezahlt (nur für Wanderreit-Karten) zeigt ein Formular zum Ausfüllen des vorausbezahlten Wanderreit-Kartencodes an
• Abonnement stornieren kündigt Ihr Wanderreit-Karten-Abo
• Verbergen removes map from the list. It can be reversed in Map Settings.

Some maps (e.g. Outdooractive online or IGN online) are accessible only after payment for Abonnement. Nach der Anzeige des Detailbildschirms und der Bestätigung werden Sie aufgefordert, eine Art Abonnement zu erwerben - monatlich oder jährlich. Die Kaufabwicklung erfolgt über Locus-Store. Nach dem Absenden der Zahlung ist der Zugang frei.

If you miss some online map of your preference, you may look it up in the Locus-Store. So as to keep the online map offer in order, Locus Map stores some less known or less used online maps “aside” right there.

• tippen Knopf im Registerkarte „Online“. und wählen Sie Add new online maps

• select your map in the Store and tap the blue button ADD

• new online map appears in online tab of the Map manager
