Tracks and routes are exported to another mobile, to a desktop application or web service for further processing - displaying in a different environment, background, for editing etc. There are several ways how to launch track/route export:

• single track/route export - Tracks manager > folder > track detail window > edit tool menu > exportieren
  
• group of tracks export - Track manager > folder > tools button > check tracks to export > exportieren
  
• tracks folder export - Track manager > folder > action menu > exportieren
  

• Exporttyp - indicates selected format of exported file or external service into which the track is exported. Tap to change the export format or select a web service (Strava, Runkeeper, GPSies…).
• Name exportieren - date/time stamp of creating the track is default. It can be rewritten. *
• Exportpfad - defines the path where the exported file will be saved. Either it is pre-set or it is possible to change it. You can select among local memory, Dropbox or Google Drive (both apps must be installed first).
• Parameter - change according to selected export format

• GPX - GPS eXchange-Format ist ein XML-basiertes Textformat zur Handhabung von Weichen, Einzelspuren, Mehrfachspuren und Routen. Locus unterstützt vollständig alle gültigen Tags. Eine ausführlichere Beschreibung des GPX-Formats finden Sie hier Wikipedia-Seite.
  • Nur Export sichtbar - Das Kontrollkästchen ist nur aktiv, wenn ein ganzer Ordner mit Tracks exportiert wird. Wenn Sie es aktivieren, werden nur Tracks exportiert, die tatsächlich auf der Karte sichtbar sind

  • Insert a formatted description - erstellt a HTML table with the file description - it is not recommended if re-import or further GPX editing is planned
  • Export as route - TRK tags in the file will be replaced by RTE tags so that the file can be used as route for navigation

• KML/KMZ - Schlüsselloch-Auszeichnungssprache ist ein XML-basiertes Nur-Text-Format mit einem sehr breiten Anwendungsbereich. Seit Version 2.2 ist das KML-Format von OGC standardisiert, sodass es von vielen Web-/Desktop-/mobilen Anwendungen sowie von Locus Map verwendet wird. Es kann sowohl für den Export von Punkten als auch von Tracks verwendet werden, einschließlich mehrerer Tracks.

• TCX - XML-Schulungszentrum is a data exchange format introduced as part of Garmin's Training Center product. The XML is similar to GPX since it exports GPS tracks, but treats a track as an Activity rather than simply a series of GPS points. TCX provides standards for transferring heart rate, running cadence, bicycle cadence, calories in the detailed track. It also provides summary data in the form of laps. Format does not support multiple tracks export. Locus provides two export modes - as Aktivität (geeignet zum Hochladen unter Garmin Connect Webseite und als Kurs (nur grundlegende Informationen über die Strecke). Die exportierte Datei kann direkt geteilt werden.
• CSV - (Comma Separated Values) ist ein gängiges, universelles und relativ einfaches Dateiformat, das von vielen Anwendungen weitgehend unterstützt wird. Verwendbar für den Export von Punkten und Einzelspuren. Der einzige Parameter ist die Share-Option.
• DXF - (Drawing eXchange Format) - kommt von CAD-Software. Verwendbar für den Export von Punkten, Tracks und mehreren Tracks. Außer den bereits erwähnten Parametern ermöglicht es:
  • Echte (3D) Höhe - Verschiebt exportierte Tracks in die tatsächliche Höhe über dem Meeresspiegel und zeigt sie in 3D an
