Each activity has its own **track recording profile** adjusted to the character of the activity. When you start track recording, your **last used profile is selected**. ==== Selection ==== When you want to record another activity, tap the chosen profile to **open the selection**. Tap another profile to **Select** it:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios12.gif?nolink |}} ==== Changing parameters ==== You can reconfigure every profile - change its **name, activity, preferred storage folder, line style** and other parameters. To do so, tap the settings button:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios13.jpg?nolink |}} Then tap a selected profile to configure it:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios135.gif?nolink |}} === Name === You can insert your custom name for the profile. === Activity === Select from a vast array of activities in 6 categories:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios136.jpg?nolink |}}\\ Changing an activity changes **only the icon**. The method and accuracy of the track recording are defined by the parameters below. === Storing === Every profile can store the tracks in a different folder. Choose it in the [[my_lib|Library]]. === Track recording line style === Here, you can set the color and thickness of the track line on the map during recording. === Stored track line style === Tapping the sample opens a dialog to set the color, thickness and other parameters of the saved track line:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios137.jpg?nolink |}}\\ There are two modes: * **Use style of the folder** - the track inherits the [[my_lib#folder_tools|style set for the folder]] in which it is saved * **Custom line style** - besides the color and thickness, you can set a pattern, outline or color filling for closed objects (areas). Moreover, you can set a dynamic coloring mode of the line according to various criteria:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios138.png?nolink |}} === Distance and time intervals and their relation === * **Distance** - sets the distance between recorded track points. The slower the movement, the shorter the distance should be. * **Time** - sets the time period between recording two track points. The slower the movement, the longer the period should be. * **Trackpoint recording condition** - defines the method of trackpoint recording based on the distance and time relation: * **Distance AND time** - both intervals at once trigger trackpoint recording - smoother line but less accurate * **Distance OR time** - one of the intervals triggers trackpoint recording - very accurate but a lot of track points are recorded * **Required location accuracy** - sets the maximum acceptable range of GPS accuracy for recording tracks. More than 30 m is recommended. When you are done with the editing, tap **Save**:\\ {{ :manual:ios:ios14.jpg?nolink |}} ==== Adding new profile ==== The basic profile selection only contains cycling, MTB and walking.
