===== Structure =====
The main menu contains:
  * Log in to **[[manual:user_guide:locus_store:user_profile|Locus account]]**
  * **notification center** 
  * a grid of buttons triggering **the most used features** 
  * a button opening the **complete offer of the app's features and tools** 
  * **[[https://www.locusmap.app/premium|Go Premium]]**, **[[manual:user_guide:locus_store:about|Locus Store]]**, **About app/Helpdesk** and **[[manual:user_guide:settings:|Settings]]** buttons.
===== Locus account =====
The bar above the button grid shows whether **you are or are not logged in** [[manual:user_guide:locus_store:user_profile|Locus account]]. If not, the **log in** option is displayed:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset12.jpg?nolink |}}
Tapping the "log in" starts the sign-in/sign-up process.

If yes, your user profile avatar, name, and e-mail address are displayed:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset13.jpg?nolink |}}
Tapping the user profile name opens details and management of your [[manual:user_guide:locus_store:user_profile|Locus account]].
===== Notification center =====

Here the app informs about **ongoing processes** - downloading maps, elevation data, backups...\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset2.jpg?nolink |}}\\ The active process and the status of its progress is indicated by a **dynamic** icon. The ongoing process can be paused, restarted or cancelled:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset3.jpg?nolink |}} 

Individual items in the center can be **swiped away**:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset15.jpg?nolink |}}\\ except announcements of **special actions** that have to be **confirmed** first.

To **clear all items** in the box, tap the delete button at the bottom:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset4.jpg?nolink |}}
==== History ====
To **display** the history of recent notifications, tap the button in the topbar:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset16.jpg?nolink |}}\\ To **delete** the history, tap the trash button:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset17.jpg?nolink |}}

Notification settings are system-driven and you can get to them quickly from the topbar:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset18.jpg?nolink |}}

You can change the **number** of these buttons and the **features** they trigger.
==== Number of buttons ====
Open //Locus settings > Controlling > Panels&buttons > Num of rows in main menu//. You can set up to **5 rows of buttons**:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:settings:mainmenuset6.png?nolink |}}

Each button can trigger any feature you need. To change a button's feature:
  * **long-press** the button

===== Go Premium =====
Here you can upgrade your app with **[[manual:user_guide:premium|Premium features]]**.

When you are a Premium user the section is named **My Premium** and you can cancel your subscription here or change your Premium plan.

===== Locus Store =====
In **[[manual:user_guide:locus_store|Locus Store]]** you can download maps, graphics and additional features.\\ <WRAP center round tip>
You can put the Locus Store button into the main grid. When you do so the extra button disappears.
