**Before importing files to the web planner, it is necessary to [[manual:user_guide:webplanner#login|log in]] to your [[manual:user_guide:locus_store:user_profile|Locus account]]**.

The web map is able to import only a **GPX file** containing tracks, routes, points or all at once.
  * click the **Import button** OR **drag/drop the file** to the map screen with your mouse:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web38.jpg?nolink |}}\\ 
  * the contents of the file are displayed **on the map** and on the **import panel**:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:web39.jpg?nolink |}}\\ 
  * you can determine what to **show** on the map and what to **hide** - single items or all content:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:web40.jpg?nolink |}}\\ 

===== Editing =====

Click the planner button to **edit a copy of the imported route**:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web41.jpg?nolink |}}\\ \\ the original route remains intact:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web42.jpg?nolink |}}\\ \\ After editing you can **[[manual:user_guide:webplanner:sharing#exporting_a_route|re-export the route]]** or **save it in your library**.

You can **save** the imported data into your **library synced with the Locus Map app**:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web44.jpg?nolink |}}\\ 
Select folders for the tracks and points separately or check **Merge points with imported track**.
