The main search box is placed in the top left corner. The search returns **POI categories**, individual **points of interest** and **addresses** and is dependable on the displayed location - it returns results **within or nearest to the selected map area**. Clicking a searched category of LoPoints highlights them on the map:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web30.jpg?nolink |}}
===== Coordinates =====
You can insert **GPS coordinates** in latitude/longitude format to the search box, and the location emerges on the map:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web66.jpg?nolink |}}
===== Mid-route search =====
A special way of searching places for adding them directly **[[manual:user_guide:webplanner:planning#adding_points_inside_the_route|inside a planned route]]**.
  * click **+** between route points
  * start **typing** inside the point box:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web31.jpg?nolink |}}\\ 
  * click on a POI from the **list of results** and add it to the route:\\ {{ :manual:user_guide:webplanner:web32.jpg?nolink |}}
