It may happen that the newest version of Locus Map doesn't work as you've expected and you want to downgrade. We respect that and we offer older versions for download and installation from our public repository:

• (optional) change the location of the custom subdirectories (if you have any) to the default within the main app's directory
• create a backup of your data and store it outside of the main app directory, e.g. to the system “download” folder
• go to Locus settings > Backup & Filesystem > App data transfer > unload app data
• select e.g. “download” directory and create a new folder in it. Name it e.g. “locus_data”. Confirm.
• uninstall Locus Map and reboot your device
• select a desired Locus Map version APK file from the repository and install it (this requires additional permission to install apps from unknown sources)
• load app data from the “locus_data” folder - be aware that the older version may not be compatible with the data from new versions. If you are unsure, skip this and proceed to the next step.
• restore backup
• restart Locus Map

At the moment, we produce three variations of both our apps, Locus Map 4 and Locus Classic:

• Google Play version - for devices with Google Play services, APK file name contains “GooglePlay”
• Google Play Afa version - for devices with Google Play services, with All Files Access permission, APK file name contains “GooglePlayAfa”
• Amazon version - for devices without Google Play services and with Amazon Appstore. APK file name contains “Amazon”

If you would like to install your app but you have a device with an older Android version that is not supported by the current Locus Map available in Google Play Store, you can download and install a version compatible with your Android OS.
