The main search box is placed in the top left corner. The search returns POI categories, individual points of interest and addresses and is dependable on the displayed location - it returns results within or nearest to the selected map area. The results are emerging right after typing a few characters, you don't have to click on any button.

Any place from the search results can be added to a planned route.
