Sensors Manager
Menu > All features > Set up
A sensor manager is a central place in the app where you can connect your Bluetooth and ANT+ sensors to Locus Map and manage these connections. Locus Map supports a wide range of BT4, BT3, ANT+ and USB sensors.
How to add a sensor
- activate the sensor and make sure it emits BT or ANT+ signal
- tap
in the manager and select the type of sensor - a GPS, a heart rate monitor, a bike radar, an e-bike…, including the type of connection - BT 4 or 3, ANT+ or USB - Locus Map starts searching for the sensor and displays a list of available devices
- pick your sensor to add it to the manager. If it is supported, it connects immediately:

Dis/connecting
Added sensors stay in the manager. When you want to disconnect some, tap DISCONNECT. If you want to connect some, tap CONNECT.

Locus Map is also now open to community-developed sensor adapters. Third-party apps can integrate their own sensors—specialized BLE devices, protocols specific to certain e-bikes, and custom hardware—and real-time data from these sensors will appear in the sensor manager, on the dashboard, in the audio coach, and in the route recording.
