How Do I Control Locus Map?

The main screen
What do you see when you launch the application for the first time? After a quick initialization, you will see the main screen:
- by default, the main screen is covered by the online LoMap. This can be changed according to your preferences in the Map Manager or Locus Store.
- your current GPS location is in the center of the screen. When the circle is full blue, your position is fixed
- the bottom panel contains the main menu button, center/rotate button, search button, GPS/compass button/indicator and function panel setting button.
Map control
- you can move the map by simply touching and dragging
- zoom in/out with the zoom buttons or by pinching
. If you prefer one-handed control, you can double-tap and drag the map to zoom it - to center your GPS location, tap the center button:
To keep your location centered, tap and hold the center button until you see the confirmation message:
When you move the map your position will return to the center after 5 seconds. - to rotate the map according to your heading or by compass, tap the center button twice:
The main menu
- it slides up from the bottom after you tap the menu button:
- the first slide up shows 8 buttons with the main functions:
Search, Map Manager, Navigate to, Tracks&Routes manager, Track Recording, Route Planner, Points Manager and Share
The order and functions of these buttons can be changed by long-tapping and selecting them. See Setting of the main menu >>

opens a list of all Locus Map features. - sliding the menu up will reveal more options:
- Go Premium offers the unlimited features of the app
Locus Store - here you can buy and download maps and other features
Helpdesk / About app - links to the support team and information about the application
Settings - general settings section of the app
