one app (Locus Map 4.4.x or Locus Map Pro 3.55.x) is installed
download and install Locus Map 4.5 or Locus Map Pro 3.56
during the app initialization, you are notified of the app directory /Locus/ stored in the unsupported part of the internal storage:
by accepting it, Locus smoothly transfers the whole directory into its private folder
after the app restarts, all is done and working as before
What if I refuse?
the app update is cleanly installed into the private folder
it has no access to the original data - it contains an empty database and no offline maps
the app is fully operable but when you start filling the new database with new tracks or points, you risk losing them if you decide to load the original data later - they'll be overwritten
you are notified of the original directory at each start of the app
you can load the original data any time from the app main menu:
