About Items
Unlike imported points or tracks items are autonomous files that can be processed by Locus Map without direct importing them. The files can contain points or tracks and they preserve their inner properties (e.g. GroundOverlays or rotating of points in KML files) - they are placed in temporary memory and all their changes are lost when Locus Map is closed.
Using Items in Locus Map is designed especially for advanced users and is not essential for common use of application.
